Everyone needs to visit Las Vegas at least once in their lives. Whether it is the thrill of the casinos, the numerous excellent restaurants (Las Vegas has more Michelin starred restaurants than any other city in the world), the eye-popping shows, the neon lights or the sheer razzmatazz, Las Vegas has to be seen to be believed; it is everything you imagine it to be and probably more. Why should I visit Las Vegas?
Why should I visit?
Aside from the obvious casinos, fantastic shows, outrageous cocktails, fun, bright lights and extravaganza, you will find a wide range of restaurants and world class golf. The Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam are a short distance away. Go to celebrate a wedding, a special birthday or just to get away for a long weekend.
We have mentioned food several times; there are so many options in Las Vegas that it would be hopeless to try and list them all. Here are a few favourites that we think are worthy of a visit. The Robb Report named Las Vegas "the best place on Earth to eat steak; Mario Batali's Carnevino at The Palazzo, has a succulent 240-day dry-aged Riserva rib eye or Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak at The Mirage paired with a very decent glass of wine is memorable. For something a little lighter, try the expansive sushi bar at NOBU inside the Hard Rock Hotel or the Chef's Tasting Menu at RM Seafood in the Mandalay. You can also find Parmesan paprika popcorn, gourmet beef jerky appetizer, a Catfish Sloppy Joe and for desserts the Chocolate Lovers Dessert is as amazing as the view more than 800 feet above Las Vegas in the Stratosphere Tower. After an almost inevitable late night, the weekend brunch scene calls; the Jazz Brunch in the Country Club at the Wynn could be an answer
