Day 1

San Francisco

Arrive in the stunning city of San Francisco and transfer to your first hotel. Take in some of the sights including Chinatown, Telegraph Hill, Jackson Square, Golden Gate Park and Fisherman’s Wharf.

Just one day is often not enough in San Francisco so if you would like to add extra nights, Frontier America will be happy to help.

Day 2

San Francisco to Fort Bragg

Pick up your bike this morning and begin your ride along the famous Pacific Coast Highway. Leave the city of San Francisco by crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Make sure you leave the highway and head into the Point Reyes National Seashore and along the coast to your overnight stop. On your way you may wish to stop at Bodega Bay or Inverness. For a more traditional seaside experience be sure to stop in Mendocino. When you arrive in Fort Bragg, head to Glass Rock Beach for a beautiful beach filled unique glass pebbles. Enjoy a nice evening meal at the North Coast Brewery.

Day 3

Fort Bragg to Red Bluff

Today you will continue riding along the coast before heading inland to the Victorian town of Red Bluff. As you begin to ride further the scenery will transform before your eyes from the sunny coastline to the giant redwood trees in the forests of Northern California. If you want a firsthand view of these amazing phenomenon take a trip down the Avenue of Giants. Then head inland to visit “The Friendly City” of Fortuna before riding on Red Bluff for your overnight stop.

Day 4

Red Bluff to South Lake Tahoe

As you set off on your ride today, you will leave the California Valley and ride to the idyllic lakeside town of South Lake Tahoe. Climb through the Northern California Mountains on winding roads offering stunning panoramic views. You could take a detour through the Lassen Volcanic National Park before a quick stop in one of America’s coolest towns, Quincy.

Day 5

South Lake Tahoe to Mammoth Lakes

Today you will head to Mammoth Lakes. Traditionally this is a winter resort town, although it is stunningly beautiful at all times of the year. The drive from South Lake Tahoe is a fairly short one, but for an added extra, drive the zigzag roads of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and across Sonora Pass.

Day 6

Mammoth Lakes to Furnace Creek

Today you will ride into the heart of Death Valley, one of most desolate environments in the United States. . Before heading into Furnace Creek, ride through the desert town of Lone Pine, the site of countless classic Western movies.

Day 7

Furnace Creek to Laughlin

Emerge from the desert today as you ride to Laughlin, a miniature version of Las Vegas on the banks of the Colorado River. As you ride out of Death Valley and through the Mojave National Preserve and onto the legendary Route 66. Visit the town of Amboy for a traditional Route 66 stop. When in Laughlin make sure to enjoy the river views and casinos.

Day 8

Laughlin to Las Vegas

Today is your last day of riding as you ride from Laughlin to the spectacular city of Las Vegas, where you will return your bike. You will hop back on Route 66 through the historic town of Oatman to enjoy a traditional American meal as you enjoy the wandering Burros. Next, make sure you visit Kingman. The town of Kingman is known as the “Heart of Historic Route 66” so soak up the nostalgia and visit the Historic Route 66 Museum. Then before you continue on into Las Vegas, make sure you visit the awe-inspiring Hoover Dam. Las Vegas is a city of glamour and excess, so take in a show, hit the casino floors or enjoy a gourmet meal.

Las Vegas

our journey ends here, head to Las Vegas International Airport to fly home or onto your next destination. More than one night in Las Vegas is recommended and Frontier America can help you with your booking, as well as any additional stays at another destination.
