Day 1

New York City

Embark on your journey today in Manhattan and prepare to head north on one of Blount’s ‘signature series’ cruises. Why not combine your cruise with one of our New York City breaks, ask Frontier America to help you do that.

Day 2

New York City to West Point

Begin your morning sailing through New York Harbour viewing the iconic New York skyline including the Statue of Liberty. Then let the majestic beauty of the Hudson River take your breath away. Arrive in West Point this afternoon where you can take an optional tour to view the prestigious West Point Military Academy.

Day 3

West Point to Kingston

Awaken in Kingston this morning, and enjoy an optional tour to Hyde Park that includes a visit to “Springwood,” the beloved estate home of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, now home to his presidential library and museum. Later, travel the northern leg of the Hudson River to Troy, NY. 

Day 4

Kingston to Erie Canal

Following their motto of going where other ships don’t today you will visit the Erie Canal, where you will be joined by a local historian to narrate this section of the cruise as this particular canal way is widely considered as one of the most important works of civil engineering in American history.

Day 5

Erie Canal to Sylvan Beach

Behold the beauty of the Catskill Mountains - where verdant valleys, rushing streams and rivers, abundant wildlife and artistic mavericks abound. Approximately 250,000 acres of the Catskill's pristine landscape has been designated "forever wild" thanks to the work of environmental visionaries. Located in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains, Cooperstown, NY is home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the Farmers Museum, and the Fenimore Art Museum. Watch America’s history come alive in this picturesque town that combines big-city excitement with small town charm. Tonight arrive in Sylvan Beach, NY on the shores of shimmering Lake Oneida.

Day 6

Sylvan Beach to Oswego

Continue your trip today toward another of the great lakes, the beautiful Lake Ontario. From here you can take a loop shuttle around the edge of the lake to view some of the highlights such as the H. Lee White Marine Museum, the Richardson-Bates House Museum, or Fort Ontario.

Day 7

Oswego to Clayton

Today, cruise to Clayton, NY in the gorgeous Thousand Islands region. You will visit the Antique Boat Museum to view some of the world’s largest recreational boats. Spend the night in beautiful Alexandria Bay, NY with views of Boldt Castle.

Day 8

Clayton to Ogdensburg

Cruise through the stunning Thousand Islands along the St. Lawrence River, part of the international boundary between the US and Canada. Visit tiny Dark Island in Chippewa Bay and tour the stately Singer Castle. Continue on to Ogdensburg, NY where you may opt to visit the Frederic Remington Art Museum before arriving tonight in Quebec City.


Day 9

Ogdensburg to St Lawrence Seaway

Today you will cross into Canada by cruising the St. Lawrence Seaway, the gateway from the Atlantic Ocean to the North American Great Lakes. The seaway is a intricate system of locks, canals, and channels dotted with waterfront communities, scenic islands, and amazing wildlife habitats.

Day 10-11

St Lawrence Seaway to Quebec City

Quebec City, with its distinctly French culture, is considered one of the most romantic cities in North America. While visiting the city make sure to check out the impressive Chateau de Frontenac as well as browsing the shops and restaurants along the cobblestone streets of Old Town. An optional tour is available that will introduce the charms of Quebec City as well as take you to the top of the Observation Towers for a truly stunning view before visiting the impressive Montmorency Falls.

Day 12

Quebec City to Three Rivers

Today you will visit the charming port of Three Rivers, also known as Trois-Rivières in French, named for the juxtaposition of the three mouths of the Saint-Maurice River at the St. Lawrence River. This morning select from two optional tours: “Churches of Trois-Rivières” to admire the stunning architecture, or a Heritage Walking Tour, which includes a visit to the town’s Old Prison. This evening, enjoy a special opportunity to visit the Musèe des Ursulines, a short walk from the ship, and listen to a private organ recital inside the museum’s awe-inspiring chapel. 

Day 13-14

Three Rivers to Montreal

Cruise south, as you approach Montreal, a vibrant riverside city filled with culture, history, and art. Famed for its thrilling cuisines, cobblestone streets, and world-class shopping, Montreal truly appeals to every sense of adventure. Spend the remainder of the day discovering the treasures of Montreal, QC. You may choose an optional city tour that includes Old Montreal, Olympic Park, Mount Royal Park, and St. Joseph’s Oratory; or enjoy exploring this enchanting and historic city at your leisure.
