The holiday begins in Washington with a two night stat and a two-day hop-on / hop-off tour ticket taking you to all the major Washington, DC, attractions. You can visit several of Washington D.C's famous attractions as well as many of the famous museums and monuments including the Jefferson Memorial, the Crime Museum, and The Library of Congress, just to name a few.

Train to Atlanta
You will have some more time exploring Washington, DC, before you transfer on your own and board Amtrak for a relaxing trip south to Atlanta in your private Roomette sleeping accommodations.
Overnight train on which all meals are included.
This morning you will arrive in Atlanta where you will stay for a further two nights. You can use your CityPASS to visit some of Atlanta's most bragged about attractions, including the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola, Zoo Atlanta and a CNN Studio Tour. Take some time out to visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens or visit the Centennial Park, home of the 1996 Olympic Games.

Transfer on your own and board Amtrak for the daylight journey to the Big Easy. Perhaps spend your free time this evening exploring the romantic French Quarter with a leisurely carriage ride for two. You will have two nights in New Orleans. Your stay includes a narrated tour that will introduce you to voodoo and piracy, architecture and art, and history in the making. Then take a stroll down famous Bourbon Street and choose from the best restaurants in the South for some delectable Creole food. You might also like to take a tour along River Road to see some of the beautiful Plantation Homesor an airboat tour in the bayou around New Orleans to see alligators and lots of other wildlife.
