The Freestone Inn, surrounded by a pine tree forest at the edge of the North Cascades National Park, is in the rural area of Mazama, Washington near the Methow Valley. With nearly 200km of trails running through the valley, there is no shortage of opportunity to explore by bicycle, horseback or on foot. The inn also has its own private lake for those wanting to try their hand at fly fishing, with several other outdoor pursuits available.
The Freestone Inn plays host to a renowned restaurant, the Sandy Butte Bistro and Bar. Combining classic French cooking principles with diverse world food traditions served up under vaulted ceilings with magnificent lakeshore views and a giant river-rock fireplace, it is easy to see why this is a popular place to enjoy an evening meal.
Rooms
Freestone Inn offers a choice of guest rooms in the main lodge or your own private cabin. The lodge rooms all feature their own stone fireplaces, separate baths and showers and a private deck or patio with a direct view of the lake. The larger rooms also include a full kitchen, as do the cabins. The cabins also include their own gas fireplaces and deck which is equipped with a gas grill and Adirondack chairs during the summer season.
