Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, you can follow in the footsteps of luminaries such as JP Morgan, William Rockefeller and William Vanderbilt who all stayed on Jekyll Island in its heyday, Today, both the main building and its surrounding cottages speak of a comfort of a bygone age with gloriously upholstered sofas on the verandas that you never want to leave and antique furniture throughout.

Driftwood Beach is a treat in store, a horse-drawn carriage will take you around the historical district or Frontier America can organise a birding tour for you through the maritime forest and marshes. Jekyll has a fantastic diversity of bird life. 63 holes of golf are on the island plus two mini-golf courses.

From the Clubhouse (Main Hotel) and the Annex, to the adjacent Sans Souci, Crane Cottage and Cherokee, authentic history and genuine Southern hospitality await you.
The Clubhouse contains a selection of hotels rooms with either one or two double / queen beds, a king bedded room with a Jacuzzi tub, some 2-room suites and the spectacular Presidential suite complete with turret.
Crane Cottage is hardly a cottage as it has 13 guest rooms and a suite featuring a beautiful sunken garden. It was the most expensive winter home ever built on Jekyll Island; you will admire the spacious rooms with gorgeous views.
Cherokee has some of the most romantic rooms many of which have Jacuzzi tubs and private porches.
