King & Prince Hotel

Saint Simons Island

Our Rating

Spanning nearly 100 years, the 4* King and Prince Club has a varied history, starting life as a seaside dance club in 1935. During World War II, the hotel served as a naval coast-watching and training facility, reopening in 1947 as a popular island resort with gracious Mediterranean-style architecture. Renovated several times, the King and Prince is a member of the prestigious Historic Hotels of America.

You will be able to enjoy the soaring, sun-lit atrium, the ocean front dining, swimming pools, tennis courts and of course its renowned Joe Lee designed championship golf course.

Echo, the only ocean-front restaurant on St. Simons, offering classical seaside cuisine as well as some interesting cocktail is at the King and Prince as well as the more casual Sea Shack. . You have to try their version of a Bloody Mary!
