A Historic Hotels of America property, the Read House is in the centre of Chattanooga and full of character. Originally opened in 1872, it has been visited by among others Winston Churchill, Richard Nixon and Al Capone. It has a beautiful lobby, complete with grand piano and Porter’s Steakhouse, an award winning restaurant. Try the whiskey-glazed T-bone steak for a man-sized meal!
The rooms vary in size from 350 to 850 square feet. The standard rooms have one king or two queen size beds, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee makers and flat screen TVs.
