Red Cliffs Lodge

Moab, Utah

Our Rating

Settled on the banks of the Colorado and surrounded by 2000ft cliffs, Red Cliffs Lodge brings comfort to this dramatic landscape. The main lodge is a landmark of authentic western architecture, with 20-foot high ceilings, exposed wood beams, natural wood paneling and Mexican saltillo tile floors, furnished with rustic log furniture to give a sense of the local history, without neglecting comforts expected by the modern traveler. With an outdoor pool and hot tub, tennis court and other lawn sports available, there's plenty to enjoy in the grounds while admiring the views, as well as easy access to both Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park.

Red Cliffs Lodge also plays host to Castle Creek Winery, the largest winery in Utah, and provides daily tastings during the summer season, as well as the Wild Horse Bar and the Cowboy Grill - a terraced dining room featuring popular American cuisine. Another popular attraction on site is the Moab Film and Western Heritage Museum, displaying the history of Hollywood's romance with the local area.

With a selection of cabins and suites, all set with views of either the Colorado River or Castle Creek and including a kitchenette, air condioning, bathtub and shower, TV, DSL Internet connection as well as complimentary WiFi, and solid log furniture as part of the traditional western decor, there are options suited to couples or family groups.
