Surrounded by beautiful pine trees, The State Game Lodge sits amidst the 71000 acres of the stunning Custer State Park.

Nestled amongst the trees, this resort with a presidential history offers guests a stay with natural feel. It is the perfect place to explore this stunning state park. Take a Buffalo Safari Jeep tour to view some of the parks most famous residents. Or do-it-yourself by following one of the road trails or valley hiking routes. On site amenities include full service restaurant, gas station and a general store.


Cabins – Sleeping between 2-28 people, these cabins offer a range of bedding options to suit your needs. Each cabin has its own private bathroom and has maid service available. Towels and linen are provided in each cabin. Kitchen utensils are provided in every cabin with a kitchen or kitchenette.

Motel Rooms – Comfortable motel rooms with a choice of queen, double queen or king beds. Each room has its own private bathroom, microwave and small refrigerator.

Historical Rooms – Decorated in an old-world style these rooms have played host to some of the lodges most famous guests since the 1920s and you can ask to stay in the same room as President Eisenhower. Guests can choose from either twin, king or queen beds. Each room has a shower unit and a telephone.
