Named for the alluvial plain on which Greenwood sits, the Alluvian is a chic hotel in the centre of Greenwood. Relax in the New Orleans style courtyard and enjoy the local artwork in the Southern Library and around the hotel.
Established in 1936, the Giardina’s restaurant is well known for its steaks and seafood as well as the Italian delicacies that you would expect from the name. The local Viking Cooking School have combined with The Alluvian with some special packages and cooking weekends. Please ask Frontier America for more details if you are interested.
The hotel has 45 bedrooms plus 5 suites surrounding the courtyard, all have whirlpool baths and most have stainless steel fireplaces. There is also a spa to complete your relaxation!
Why we like it
