Zapata Ranch is one of the few working ranches that is open to guests, situated in the San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado covers 103,000 acres and is home to bison and cattle.

Among the alpine forests and vast grass lands the Zapata Ranch offers guests a unique experience in which you can get firmly in touch with nature. Whether you fancy horseback riding, guided nature trails or learning how to ranch, the Zapata Ranch has something that will suit you. Enjoy meals in the rustic dining room that are locally sourced including meat that has been reared on the ranch. After a long day, relax by the fire in the Lodge or soak in the hot tub and take in the view of the mountains.

Rooms

With guest rooms set across three unique buildings, each as beautifully appointed as the last.

Lodge Rooms – Five well furnished guest rooms with cosy private bathrooms and lovely views.

Bunkhouse Rooms – Private guestrooms complete with their own bathtub. Large windows allow for stunning mountain views. Some rooms have separate living areas and fireplaces.
